A Journey of Dragons
A Reader-Supported Novella Series

A Journey of Dragons is part of an original, reader-supported novel series, written and published by myself. It is set in the land of Syraqua, where dragons have settled and humanity is nearly extinct, where dwarves delve into dark secrets of the past, and iguana-like reptilians seek a future of their own making. Human civilization has risen and fallen twice before; it now rises again, facing challenges from both within and without.

A Journey of Dragons

A Journey of Dragons.

A massive cataclysm casts Kaylen Thyr ashore in the strange, wild lands of Syraqua, where dragons of lore and scripture are real. Snatched from the jaws of death by an angry and curious dragon, Kaylen finds new allies: a dwarven explorer, a scholarly lizard, and a mysterious woman from a hidden human enclave. The few survivors of his homeland are scattered, confused, and far from united — and when faced with imminent destruction, they can only be saved by a dragon who must forgive an ancient wrong.

What does "reader-supported" mean?

I grant everyone the right to read or distribute these works, so long as they are unaltered, unedited, and correctly attributed to me. In other words, don't change the story and don't claim you wrote it. Otherwise, feel free to give copies to friends, family, and even complete strangers.

Reader support provides food, drink, tools, and shelter, such that I and my family can continue to produce works of fiction, fact, and art.

As such, if you read this tale and enjoy it, please support and encourage me. The suggested price for each novel is $7.95 (US). Use the "Buy Now" link on the right, or visit the book's main web page. And, if you want to send me a different amount, simply use the "donate" button at left.

About this site

These stories would get written even if no one else saw them; rather than let them languish on my hard drive, I post them here, along with other tidbits of my personal life that don't fit well with my business web site. Let's just say that these books tell me to write them, so I do. :)
